As they headed out of the packhouse, Mona handed the letter to Sansan, who passed it on to the packhouse messenger that delivers on everyone’s behalf. Mona felt a bit better, knowing her parents wouldn’t be subjected to the horrific thoughts that something might be wrong with her.
