Chapter 190
Ivan had been the first to complain about a weird feeling in his belly. His wolf practically howled at every attack, whatever worm in his belly did. Zac, who had been trying to comfort him, suddenly fell to his knees, groaning. Even though he tried to get a grip on himself, there was only little he could do.
Looking around the vault, the four of them were down, their hands scratching the wall to get a hold of it. Their eyes burned as they let out a painful howl; their wolves were practically screaming in pain.
“What did you put in the muffin and tea, Zac?” Killan, who hardly says a word, asked, his veins almost popping out of his neck.
Zac’s eyes watered at how he and the rest of his men wallowed in pain. He tried to process what could have gone wrong with the food. This wasn’t the first time Simone would make anything for him. He couldn’t tell if anyone had tampered with the food when he made a quick stop at the Alpha’s chambers when he had arrived that morning
