Jack stood by the window, trying to calm his nerves that kept jumping out of place. He wished they hadn’t given the Alpha an extra day ultimatum. He felt like shifting into his wolf and making his way towards the Lycan Pack. All through the night, he could hear Kate heaving. She was having a hard time sleeping.
