Xavier's POV

I watched as she left my office like a wounded lioness. I wanted to drag her and slam my lips on hers again. I love the feeling of her soft lips on mine but I can't afford to risk it. She has to be farther away from me or she will end up hurt. When she mentioned the Damian guy, I was pissed but she is right anyways, I am a selfish bastard but I was also doing her a favor. The farther she is away from me, the safer she will be.

If she is far, then when the beast awakens, he wouldn't get to sense her.

"You shouldn't have talked to her like that now you have made her cry and have succeeded in pushing her away from us." Killian grumbled.

"It's going to be good if she goes away." I replied, puffing my cigarettes.
