Wayne placed both hands on Walter’s shoulders and pressed down firmly. “Calm down... breathe,” he said, massaging his shoulders. “Look at me... look at your brother,” he added, though his voice wasn’t quite as soft this time. It sounded more like a soldier encouraging a comrade in battle. “This is hard, even for me. But you can either wait for us downstairs like a frightened pup or march in there with us like the Alpha you have inside you,” he challenged.

Walter stared deep into his eyes, then nodded. Wayne patted him twice on the shoulder before turning back to Dr. Lance.
