“This is a joke, right?” Olive asked, looking from her dragon to the new dragon.

“I know we just met, but you should already know I’m not the type to joke around,” her dragon groaned and huffed.

“But how is this possible? Never—and I repeat, never—has this been heard of. Only the Firewolf of a generation is gifted a dragon. One dragon per Firewolf of a generation!” Lutz argued, his tone filled with disbelief and shock. This was simply not possible. He had studied the books for years. He was the most learned historian. He did not know this. This was simply unheard of.

“No, Firewolf is like her,” the male dragon lowered his voice to say.
