Chapter 60. Moonlit Rejection

Anastasia's POV

As I crossed the threshold of the ballroom, the night greeted me with its comforting silence. The fresh air was a rejuvenating contrast to the stifling atmosphere I had just left behind. I looked up at the starry sky, each star shining like a beacon of hope. The moon, majestic and serene, seemed to smile at me as if approving my decision to move forward. I let out a sigh, feeling an immense weight lift off my shoulders.

I walked across the castle courtyard, each step firm on the stone ground, my heart pounding with a mix of emotions. The trees around me murmured softly with the night breeze, their branches dancing in a silent symphony. The nature around me seemed to vibrate with a new energy, reflecting the change I felt within.

My steps were firm and yet hurried, though I did not know where to go now. I thought about returning to my room, changing my clothes, and leaving. I wanted to say goodbye to Flora, thank her for everything she had done
