Chapter 48

The old familiar stained bricks on the wall brought back past memories as I walked through the hallway. It seemed like I haven't been in this building for years, whereas it was just for a few months.

I would have wanted to do everything possible to not come to this place anymore but it seemed to be the only way I could escape from Alaric for at least 7 hours.

I could see some wolves staring at me as I walked by, some were whispering while some hissed at me and it all seemed so funny to me because before Alaric came I was a nobody and they never cared about my affairs even though I was in a relationship with Asher. Seemed like they all knew right from the start that Asher was only going to play me and they didn't care.

I tried to ignore the many stares I was getting from jealous wolves just to get up in my class and wait for the lecture to begin. I was a little bit too early because I was eager to leave the pack house and get as far away as I can from Alar
