The waves of emotions that washed over me harshly, was hard to comprehend. I just stared, wide eyed, at Carl, who kept on with the healing process while refusing to look up at me. My initial surprise to his words was surprise, but now rage engulfed me like a tidal wave.

“You....you lied to me,” I scoffed.

Carl remained silent, as he kept tending to me.

I scoffed, shaking my head. “I thought we were friends! After making me believe you actually cared about me?! At the end of the day, you were just another messenger of the dark king sent to take me away!”

Carl remained mute, and his silence only fuelled my anger. “How can you not say anything to me?! After you toyed with my feelings! You came to me when I had no one, when I was at my lowest! Was it fun to see how easily I gave in? How easily I became your friend? Was it fun manipulation me?!”

Carl kept on healing me and I was getting even more agitated with his silence
