Chapter 150. A Sharp Cry

The chains that were wrapped around me began to tighten around my thighs, my neck and my hands. It was getting harder to breath and it felt like the more I struggled the more the chains grip seemed to tighten.

The dark king hovered over me, his hands stretched out to me.

“Be good, and come to me. We have a wedding ceremony to finish.”

I scoffed, smirking. “Do you think I will just give up so easily? I have my mates here with me, and they will defeat you.”

The dark king burst out laughing, making my confidence waver a little. He pointed towards the side of the field that was caught up in battle.

“Look at your so called mates? Are these the ones you are putting all your hope on?”

My eyes followed the direction he pointed at, and my heart dropped. Asher, Elliot, Roy and Felix looked like they were having a tough time. Each of them were facing on opponent, and from the looks of it, they were at a disadvantage.
