I shifted on the bed, expecting to feel the warmth of my mates, but all I felt was the cold sheets. My eyes slid open and when I looked at the bed, I was the only one laying in it. I pushed myself up and stretched my arms.

We had spent a total of two weeks, laying in the sheets and spending time together. I knew they had work to do, and I wouldn’t hold it against them for leaving the room so early in the morning. I swung my legs out of bed, feeling refreshed.

I had a long day ahead of me.

I was dying to see mother and father, and Elliot. I marched into the bathroom, and freshened up, before I left the room. I was feeling bubbly today, and rather eager to see my family, especially after a long time of being away.

As I walked through the palace, I took in the familiar scenery. It felt like I had been away from ages, and finally being in this familiar and comfortable environment, made me full of joy.
