Chapter 56. Lust For Me

Suzie POV

I slowed down my pace when I realized I was far from the pack house. I grabbed my knees as I desperately tried to grasp for air. The moment I had stepped out of the pack house, I ran. It felt like if I had stayed there a bit longer, I would have been forced to rethink my options.

I stood up straight and exhaled sharply, as I pulled out my phone. There was one more step in needed to pass through, in order to finally gain freedom and go with Elliot to my new home, and that was speaking with alpha Cole.

As much as I swore to never talk to him again, he was still the alpha of this pack, and I needed his permission to officially leave his pack. I pulled out my phone and dialed his number immediately. I listened to it ring for a few seconds before I heard the click sound.

My heart was beating rapidly, as I waited for him to speak.

“If it isn’t my precious Suzie. What can I do for you dear?”

I cringed at the sound of
