Chapter 69. I Do Not Want

Suzie POV

Asher’s words hit me like a tidal wave and I stumbled back a bit. What was I expecting? A hug from him? A kiss? For him to look at me with some kind of warmth in his eyes? I scoffed at how naive I was. After everything that I had done to them, there was no way they would have any more feelings for me.

I was resigned at this point, I did not care if they wanted to hold me hostage, or even kill me.

But the queen stepped right in front of and shielded me from them. She has a snarl on her lips and I could tell she was not willing to give me up so easily.

“I will not let you all take my daughter away from me. She is under the royal family and none of you are allowed to interfere with us.”

Asher stopped in his tracks and turned to his brother’s. Felix stepped forward folded his arms.

“We want to ask you nicely your Highness, to return Suzie back to us. She was originally a member of our pack.”
