Suzie POV

I raced down the street, my heart in my throat as it best loudly in my chest. My mother and Elliot had opted out to taking a carriage to the hospital, but I could not wait that long. The anxiety and fear eating up at me compelled my legs to move before I could even comprehend the words the guard had brought to us.

I ran as swiftly as I could, gasping for air as the wind gushed by me. Once the hospital had come into view, I ran into it. I breezed to the counter, slamming my hands on the desk as my messy hair covered a part of my eye.

Sweat dripped down my face to my cheeks as I gazed at the nurse at the counter, who looked like she had just seen a ghost. I could not blame her, I had just shoved myself in her face.

“Where is the Alpha king? What room is he in? Tell me right now!” I yelled frantically.

“Y-Your highness is on the third floor-r.”

“What room!”

“The 6th room,” She said while pointing towards the stair
