3RD PERSON’S POV~

Anaya and Mary sat quietly at the dining table early in the morning. A cup of hot tea sat in front of Anaya, and a bowl of noodles sat in front of Mary. Mary lifted her fork from the table and dipped it into her bowl. She spun it around once and lifted it out of the bowl and into her mouth. She turned to Anaya as she chewed slowly and stared at her blankly for a few seconds.

“How did your meeting with the leaders go?” Mary asked after she had swallowed.

“The same as usual. I’m always trying to tame them and put them in their place. The last meeting wasn’t any different,” Anaya said softly, raising her cup to her lips.

“But they agreed to your proposal, right?” Mary asked.

"Yes, they did. What choice do they have?” Anaya replied. She carried a blank expression on her face and sipped her tea gently.
