Chapter 238. Immortal Melody

~3RD PERSON'S POV~

Nicole and Clarabelle finally arrived at the room where they held the meeting with Lunaris. They had been running for a couple of minutes and were now very tired.

Nicole looked around the room and only found Herculia and Edith staring at the two of them.

“What?! Where's Lunaris?” Nicole asked in shock.

“She said her business with us was done for now, and she has somewhere else to be trapped in. I'm not sure what that means, but she left afterwards and hasn't returned since,” Herculia replied.

“What happened? Where's Mary?” Edith asked, getting up from the couch.

“Mary fell down a shaft somewhere in the mansion while we were trying to find Melody. I tried to teleport her back to us, but I can't seem to reach her at all. I can't feel her presence in this world anymore. It's like she's completely vanished!” Nicole answered with a worried expression on her face.

“Oh my! Take me to the shaft she fell through!” Edith exclaimed.<
