“So, you were the one who called this meeting. Seeing that your family's seal was on the letter sent, I thought your father was the one who asked for this meeting,” Steven said, folding his arms across his chest and relaxing on his seat's backrest.

“I have something important to announce; I had to make sure you and everyone in this room would take this meeting seriously, so I used the family seal instead of a personal one. My father would have been here to deliver the message himself, but he asked me to do it,” Evelyn replied, locking her finger and placing the resulting interlace below her chin.

“Yeah, I thought so. So what is your important announcement? Say it out so we can all be on our way,” Steven said, and all eight guests turned to Evelyn.
