Chapter 46. Gregory's Mate

~GABRIELLA'S POV~

I followed Gregory through the passages to his office, just as he ordered. He didn't say anything else to me throughout the walk and had this intense aura around him I had never seen before. This person before wasn't the same cheerful Gregory I knew before; this was someone else I created with my stubbornness.

I slapped my forehead, wondering why I didn't listen to the girls when they said I should talk to him once and for all. Now he hated me either way and would make life a living hell for me in the mansion because I'd been avoiding him.

“It can't be that bad; he'll just order me around a little bit, and that's all. It's not like I don't already do a buttload of work in the mansion,” I thought to myself as we approached his door.

He put his palm on the door handle, turned it, and pushed the door open. We both stepped into the room quietly, and he walked to his table to arrange some papers on it.
