Chapter 47. Date with Christine

~GABRIELLA'S POV~

Me, Clarabelle, and Marie started making plans for Gregory and Christine's meeting. Marie suggested that the meeting should be in the gardens around the mansion because there's no place with more flowers.

As for the candles, Marie planted them within lamp-shaped bushes, and the numerous candles glowed very brightly that evening. We informed Gregory of the meeting, and he quickly got prepared and arrived in the gardens, waiting for Christine to show up.

Clarabelle led Christine to the gardens with the excuse that there was some work there that she couldn't handle, and as they got to where Gregory stood, she turned around and ran off.

All three of us hid behind some other bushes, watching as both Christine and Gregory conversed. We had smiles on our faces and were sure that nothing could go wrong with this.

As we stared at Christine and Gregory, one of the candle-lit bushes caught fire.
