Esmeralda's POV

It was like the light had glued me to that position. I could not move. This was the easiest way that Frederick would be able to track my movements.

What was blinking red was a security camera. And it was pointed right at me and there was no way to avoid its menacing glance.

I looked around the supermarket and there were two other security cameras placed at different corners of the place. There was no use in being stealth or trying to avoid them. I was already caught on camera so at least I could finish what I had gone there for.

I went straight to the fridge with transparent doors that were positioned on the far side of the supermarket. I tried to open it but it seemed like it was locked.
