Chapter 126

Killian's POV

The words I heard from her were too surprising and it provoked a kind of anger within me. She knew I was looking for Esmeralda and Mikel may be the only person who knew where she was.

Mikel had been brutally beaten up by Frederick and his men and he was injured and he may or may not survive it.

Looking at it from a different perspective, I was actually doing him a favor, he was weak and injured and he might die but I took him and gave him treatment. 

There are two reasons why I couldn't let him go, one was that I wanted to extort information from him regarding Frederick, even the littlest thing he must know and the other was that he was too weak to be going up and down, he was too weak to be stressed.

Hearing these words from Paula made me feel weird and v
