Dashing out through the window wasn't my initial plan. Escaping wasn't even my plan, all I had thought to do was sit still and wait for some miracle to happen. A miracle that consisted of Killian arriving and rescuing me.

However, I had chosen to cut Frederick deep enough that surviving would be hard. Not impossible, hard. I had no idea what prompted such an act from me, what had made me even think of harming him the way that I did.

The power coursing through me had overrode me and taken over my senses. I wasn't thinking when I did that nor did I even guess that such a thing would happen. I just did the first thing that came to my mind and that was inflicting Frederick with as much pain as he must've inflicted on Killian.
