Esmeralda's POV.

I didn't know what Wesley whispered to him but after he said whatever he said, Killian smiled and I could see some color in his cheeks. Meanwhile, Wesley lifted his head and gave Killian a smug smirk.

I pulled on Killian's arm in order to grab his attention and he immediately turned to me. He looked at me with soft eyes and my brain suddenly remembered a few minutes ago when his lips were on mine.

"You made a new friend," I said to him.

Killian nodded his head and chuckled, "yea, Wesley is a detective. We met when he was investigating something that Mikel did. He has been a great help to me while we were searching for you".

I smiled, suddenly my notion about him was taking a new turn. "He did?"

I looked at him and I caught his eyes staring at me. He didn't look for long and in less than two seconds, he started his eyes away from me like he was shy.
