Chapter 80. More Than Life

Sean's POV

My eyes didn't pull away from Ivy until she disappeared from my sight. A smile formed on my lips. It was finally happening. The day I'd been planning had arrived, and it was all worth it.

I'd wanted to make this day as special for her as I could, and seeing the look in her eyes earlier, I think I'd done a good job.

'You have,' Dax told me in a rare show of agreement.

"Do you think she'll like the dress?" I asked him.

'She'll love it,' he said with total conviction.

"You've really outdone yourself," Tan said, walking to my side.

"Yeah, you've definitely raised the bar for proposals," Laphel commented. "How will the rest of us keep up?"

"She's worth it," I said proudly.

"Did you hear that?" Laphel asked Tan, nudging him. "He's totally love-struck."
