Chapter 36

Cassie’s POV

I am inside the bedroom and am currently breastfeeding my little one. I am humming in happiness while looking at Marion's innocent face.

He looks so sleepy. Like any young child, I cannot contain the emotions that I have.

The door was opened, and Rea entered the room. It looks like he is smiling while looking at the young child I am holding in my arms.

"I can see the bright future for our future alpha." I know that Rea served us for a very long time. And it seems like it is her joy to serve us.

I can see that he is walking straight in my direction.

"The alpha has sent a letter for you, Luna," she mentioned as she handed me the letter. My husband is so old-fashioned; well, he loves classics, as he always says.

"Thank you, Rea. You can take a rest now. Good night," I said to her. She exited with a smile.

I gently laid my baby in his crib. It looks like he is so asleep that the world is a peaceful place.
