Chapter 114. Blowout

Raina’s POV

“Jakub, can I borrow you for a minute?”

It was around 6 a.m. that I stole away to the training center for a workout.

I found him in the equipment room cleaning a line of daggers outlined on a table. His chestnut eyes rounded when he turned to acknowledge me. He was a little surprised that I was here, disturbing him.

“I need a warrior to hunt for someone.” I stood in front of him.

“Um, Delta Raj could help you with that.” He scratched his auburn head, ruffling the perfectly long bowl cut that made him so cute. Not handsome, but pretty cute. Maybe when he gained more weight and muscles he would start to look more masculine.

Waving hands to dismiss that, I quickly added, “I want to do this on my own. How hard could it be to find this girl?”

“You’re looking for a woman?” He asked, getting curious with his eyes locking with mine. Realizing this, he swiftly cast them to the floor and shifted uncomfortably on his feet.<
