Why is it so easy for miscommunications to occur in relationships?
A misunderstanding fluctuated between us. It was one that I wanted to instantly obliterate.
I held my breath anticipating what kind of venom Valen was about to spit at me.
“That doll was on your dresser when I got here. It caught my attention because of the tag that said Valen Jr. I was curious about it and took it up to examine it. But now I'm confused because it seemed that you were putting the blame on me for something that I know nothing about,” he explained, his lecherous eyes flicked on my lips. “Why would you think that I'd tease you with a doll when I'd rather do that with my kisses?”
