Glancing down at the golden bracelet that was peeking out of my sleeve, a quick image of Raina placated me, regaining control.

"Zeus, I'm as mad as you are, but we have to rescue Vaheed and take him to safe grounds before we can torture him." Stealthily, I went down the hallway in a readied position.

I was going to unleash my wrath on him because he crossed a line.

"I'm not stupid,” Zeus drawled. “You won't fuck him up for what he did to my mate." He enunciated the last two words. "I won't stay put like a trained dog this time. I'll show you that Hera comes before blood."

He expelled a burst of hot air that seared my cranium, steamrolling in my brain.

"Settle down so that we can survive and achieve our goal." I came upon three doors.

Theo and Thaines stood at the side of one. Isaac and Benji were at the other. While Devin, and I took the last one.

On three, we dismantled the locks to slink inside. Benji and
