Eliana’s POV
“What are you doing here?” I asked him.
“Nothing. I’m bored. Would you like me to drive you to your class?” he smiled.
“Of course,” I smiled back at Justin.
“Are you okay? Your eyes look like you just cried,” he asked, looking at me worriedly.
“Yeah, but I’m okay now,” I smiled to assure him, and he nodded.
As Justin drove me to my baking class, I couldn’t help but appreciate his presence. It was as if he had an uncanny ability to brighten my day with just a smile. Despite the emotional baggage I had brought with me to Paris, his friendship was becoming an unexpected source of comfort and joy.
During the drive, we chatted about our plans for the day. Justin mentioned an art exhibit he wanted to visit, and I shared my excitement about learning the art of baking and pastry. It was a simple conversation, but it felt like a connection that went beyond words.
