Justin’s POV

I felt bad for keeping my secret for so long. I felt like Eli was pissed at me, thinking I had no plans of marrying her and kept making excuses. I’m sorry, Eli, but I need to keep my secret so it would be a perfect surprise and exceed your expectation of a perfect proposal.

I called one of my workers to ask how the renovation was going. I dialed his number and waited for him to pick up.

“Hey, it’s Justin. How’s the renovation going?” I asked, hoping it was going well.

“Hey, It’s going okay. We’ve made some progress, but we still have a lot of work to do. I think it will take us another two weeks to finish everything,” he said.

“Two more weeks? Okay, that’s great. Is everything going according to plan?” I asked.

“Yes, we’ll make sure everything is perfect before we turn it over to you.”
