Chapter 94

Andrea’s POV

We all sat down in the sitting room starring at one another.

It was quite quiet for a while but it all changed when the stranger who I now knew to be Daniel spoke up.

“If I’m being a bother, I can just leave,” he said softly.

“Of course not! You were invited here by Mary and so you will be staying,” my mother said giving me a look.

“I just don’t know, this will be the first time Mary will bring her friend home and it turns out to be a guy,” I said.

“I already told you mom! We are just friends,” Mary said softly.

I stared at her and then at Daniel who sat on the couch.

“You are scaring the boy with your face Andrea, he will just be staying here for tonight, his parents aren’t home and he didn’t want to stay home alone and so Mary offered him a place here.” my mom said and I stared at Daniel again.

“It’s just going to be for a night.” Mary begged and knowing that this is a losing battle, I gave in.
