"Mom, let's go," Caleb told me.

It was a Saturday, and I decided to spend some quality time with Caleb and Mel.

As per Caleb's request, we also brought Brian with us, who, by the way, for the past two months didn't stop courting me, even after I told him that he was just wasting his time since my focus was on my family.

Most of the time when our family went out to bond, Brian was always there, and I could see that Caleb was getting attached to him. It was like he was seeing Brian as a father figure, and I couldn't blame him.
