Chapter 41. Looking for Ivy

In his car, Ed Shane's eyes could not focus to keep looking at the street he was going to pass. He looked right and left, maybe he found Ivy after he lost her at a red light stop.

His hands hit the steering wheel in frustration. He shouldn't have done this. It seems he broke his promise this time, even after he found out that the woman he was having an affair with was now pregnant.

Eleven months ago, a female employee looked so diligent. Even though it was already nine in the evening, she was still in the restaurant and was seen wiping the table in the kitchen.

Ed Shane, who thought that if there was no one in his restaurant anymore, intended to turn off the lights, but how surprised he was when he saw a woman who was in the kitchen and seemed to be still working.

"You ...." Before he could finish his sentence, the girl turned around.

It seemed that the woman was also surprised by the presence of Ed Shane, who was suddenly alone in the kitchen with her.
