Chapter 42. Arrival of Chris

Lilyana frowned after hearing Gladwin's answer. She didn't quite understand why it was Chris who came instead of Lucy.

Without saying anything else, Lilyana immediately stepped away from the room. In the living room of the house sat a man as Gladwin had said.

"Chris, why are you here?"

Lilyana walked closer to where the man was.

Finding Lilyana already near him, the man immediately corrected his sitting position even though he was not in the wrong position.

"I have something to talk to you about, Lily." Chris said after the girl with ponytails sat down on the sofa right in front of him.

"What do you want to talk about, Chris?"

Along with the question that came out of Lilyana's mouth, Chris found Gladwin who also came to the living room. This made Chris feel a little uncomfortable.
