Chapter 37. On Our Way

Elijah and Dylan are currently en route to the latter's condo.

Dylan was supposed to visit his son at Penelope's house, but like what happened the day before, he got caught up with Lucas. When Penelope's boyfriend was there, Dylan abruptly lost his temper. However, he felt strange for the man when they met earlier. Because when their paths crossed last night, you could feel the tension between them, but when they met earlier, there was none. Lucas seemed stunned, as though his mind were floating.

But Dylan ignored it since what mattered was that he was now with his son and that they could both bond in the condo.

"Ohhh!" Elijah said, surprised when he peeked out the window as they parked in the basement of the condominium building. "Daddy, do you live here?" he added.

"Yes, baby. But I lived up there," Dylan said as he pointed to the building. "Not here in the parking lot. So let's go?" he added, laug
