Chapter 38. Scratched

Dylan just scratched his head as he watched the two of them. And all he could think about was that Penelope might be angry with him because he left Elijah.

"Doesn't it hurt anymore?" Aaliyah smiled as she asked Elijah, who had just stopped crying.

Elijah just gave Aaliyah a nod. Then, Dylan carries his son to find out if what happened to him was terrible. "Baby, does it still hurt?" Dylan asked.

"Dylan, don't let him sleep. I know it's bad when the child bumps and falls asleep," Aaliyah reminded Dylan.

"Oh, is that so? Uhm, Elijah, do you want to draw? Let's draw, come on!" Dylan said.
