Chapter 43. My Apologies

Penelope was even more nervous when she heard Dylan call her again. The latter's faces are serious, as are his voices.

"Hmm? Why?" Penelope asked calmly; even inside, it was as if she was about to have a heart attack with extreme nervousness.

"Penelope, I need—"

Dylan was about to say something, but their son suddenly yelled, "Daddy!" and cut him off.

Elijah's voice shows that he is very scared and about to cry. Penelope and Dylan quickly went to where their son was.

They saw Elijah standing on the couch. His clothes were dirty, looked like they had been soaked in juice, and he was pointing at something on the television.

"D-Daddy! There is a cockroach! Look!" Elijah yelled.

Dylan and Penelope looked at what their son was pointing at and saw that there was a cockroach there.

"Don't be scared and cry, baby. It's just a cockroach crawling. Don't— Oh my God!" Penel
