Chapter 11

*** At Mia's Dad's house ***

"Knock! Knock!" Someone knocks before barging in. Mia's dad, Mr Rodriguez, smoking a pipe, stares disdainfully at the guy in a suit who walks in and kneels on the floor.

"Pardon me, sir," he says with his head bowed, "But it's important" he adds.

Mr Rodriguez lets out a cloud of smoke as he stares at the guy. He nods slightly.

"Thank you, sir," the guy says and continues, "There's someone outside that wants to see you," he says, " He claims......."

"Pow!!!" The sound of a gunshot resonates through the air as the guy reporting, drops dead on the floor, the pool of his blood spreading out. Mr Rodriguez, unfazed stares at the body on the floor and then looks at the doorway only to see a young man with a severed head in one hand and a smoking pointed gun in the other.

"I was tired of his chattering anyway," Rodriguez says as he puffs yet another cloud of smoke, "and who are you?" He asks.
