Chapter 19. Nathan
Little Amara’s father was indeed a charming man which explained a lot about her. He came hours later after Nathan’s wounds were cleaned just as Mrs. Morgan had said. Nathan had his fill of pastries and chatting away with little Amara before Mr. Morgan came in.
Mr. Morgan prescribed some medications for his wounds and warned him about the wild animals that roamed the woods at night, although Ethan knew Nathan never needed such medications. He could heal himself in a flash. Nathan pretended to be their guest, beaming with smiles, making Amara’s parents laugh during their conversations and even playing with little Amara.
Amara took a liking to him, just as any little one would. She suspected nothing from all his pretentious acts and asked if he could stay a little longer. Nathan accepted without any complaints, the smile on his face was unable to describe.
Ethan didn’t know what his motive was, but was sure that it was no good. During this time of blood bath, no wolf
