Chapter 27. In a Confused State

Amara had also seen the news. She had nothing more to say. The case was given to two other detectives since Amara and Ethan were gravely injured and miraculously were the only survivors of the second blast, but Amara knew there was more to that.

She had woken up a few days later after Ethan. The first thing she did was ask for him to know if he was still alive. She didn’t rest until she got an answer and when she heard that he was alive, she breathed in relief.

Amara had a lot in her mind. Firstly, it was the visions and the flash scenes she thought to be something important. If she recalled perfectly, the last flash vision she almost led to her death. But then again, she had heard that the second blast killed practically everyone on the sight. Wouldn’t that kind of blast disintegrate Amara and Ethan entirely? But here they were, still intact even after they stood just inches away from the second blast.

Amara could still remember one last thing before she last out
