Chapter 50. Nathan
“You and me that night was a mistake,” Ethan said.
Amara was hurt by such a statement. It was literally an insult to her. That night was a huge moment for her, her first time. It hurt to know that, her first time became a ridicule, a mistake. This was indeed rude, but she kept her calm and only slowly nodded in reply.
“It’s better we forget it ever happened,” he continued.
Ethan was used to this so much that it became a daily thing so this didn’t bother him at all, but Amara was a mortal, it did affect her. Her heart shattered within, but her face kept a genuine smile trying her best not to break character. The way he said it so casually made her even more annoyed.
“Good then, it was all my fault though. I shouldn’t have initiated the kiss, but it’s alright,” Amara blurted out these words and went back to being quiet. Indeed the encounter they had made the air between them awkward.
They sat down on that table, cheering and calling at the entertainment.
