Amara reclined in the cozy corner booth of the dimly lit lounge, her gaze fixated on Nathan. The soft glow of the hanging pendant lights cast a warm halo around him, emphasizing his ruggedly handsome features. His unruffled demeanor was a breath of fresh air, and Amara found herself drawn to his magnetic presence.
Nathan’s smile, with just a hint of mischief, was indeed charming and mesmerizing. It had a way of melting her worries away, at least for the moment. Yet, despite the delightful evening she was sharing with Nathan, her thoughts kept drifting to someone else—the enigmatic Ethan.
