Chapter 19. Confrontations
Something was chirping rather too loudly against my window, and it was getting too annoying.
The sun streaking through the window had not been enough to wake me up, but the bird that wouldn’t stop chirping so loudly was making it difficult for me to remain asleep.
I turned to my right so I was facing the window and threw the bird the hardest glare I could muster so early in the morning, but the annoying twat just faced the other side too and continued its business like it wasn’t being so fucking loud.
There was no way I was falling asleep again with the bird shouting and refusing to fly away, and I was not about to let it stay there just because I was lazy.
A loud yawn escaped my lips, and I stretched my little body on the bed before standing up.
The bird flew away as soon as I took my first step towards the window, and I clenched my fist in annoyance to prevent screaming out of frustration.
