Chapter 124. Damon Is Dead

DAMON’S POV

I knew this would happen. Sooner or later, I knew all my sins would catch up to me. I have hurt too many people. Killed too many people and I deserve this. Evil should not have a place in this world. A world which contains someone as beautiful as Morgana. She was the light to my darkness. She is everything I ever hoped for.

Although it was short-lived, I adored every moment spent with her. She came into my life and taught me something powerful, something that changed my entire life’s trajectory. In a cruel, and wicked world, she taught me a better way to live. She taught me how to love.

I couldn’t believe it first, when my feelings for her were reciprocated with such a willingness to forgive me. I was almost tempted to take back everything I said to her because I didn’t feel I deserved her. She was too much light for me and I was scared my darkness would poison her.

I still have no idea how she was ever able to forgive me for what I did to her. I
