ALANA’S POV

In the forbidden forests

Esther and I have been practicing a lot since we got our vision about the girl with red hair, our savior. For the past days, something has been wrong. The spirits are angry. Esther and I have felt their anger and it is affecting our magic negatively.

We still don’t know how we are supposed to help this girl but the spirits wanted to talk to Esther and I today, so we’re in the woods now in the middle of a summoning circle waiting for the witches to communicate with us.

“What do you think is getting them so riled up?” Esther asks me with a light frown on her face. Ever since we were paired by the witches to work together, we have become closer and our relationship has grown more than I expected. Esther is a kind soul and her optimism keeps me going sometimes.
