Chapter 6. A Talk

MORGANA’S POV

Reece shoves me inside the alpha’s room as he was commanded by the alpha.

“You better pray real hard the Alpha’s in a good mood today. After that show you just pulled out there, you’ll need a god on your side.” Reece says scornfully before leaving me alone in the room.

Looking back on what I just did, I realize how stupid I acted. I acted on emotion and not logic and I might get killed for it. If they could punish a slave for stealing bread, I wonder what they’ll do to me for interrupting the punisher.

I can’t get killed now. I haven’t even made any progress with my plans to overthrow the werewolves yet. If I die now, everything will be for nothing. My time as a slave, me coming to the castle, my whole life would mean nothing.

I pace around the room thinking about what I can do to make my situation better. I’m totally going to die. My plans to save the human race have been ruined by my own emotions.
