Chapter 7. My Story

DAMON’S POV

“If I have to ask again, it won’t be pretty.” I say to Morgana.

Of all the pets I’ve had Morgana is the most interesting. She knows her place, but she isn’t scared of me. All the other pets I had would whimper and even cry at the sound of my voice. All the other pets I’ve had committed suicide. Some because I was probably too harsh on them and others just because they hated me so much they would rather die than serve me.

But Morgana is different. She hates me, I can sense that but there’s a determination in her eyes when I look at her. It makes me curious and at the same time cautious of her. She may be a puny human and no match for my werewolf force, but despite the show I put on about being all powerful and disregarding the lives of humans, I do not underestimate anyone and I’m definitely not about to underestimate Morgana.
