Chapter 29
Pollen's POV
It's been more than 3 hours since the driver, Ken, took Raymond to work. All this while, I peeked through my window every now and then to see if Ken was back, but there was no black Mercedes-Benz in the yard let alone the shadow of Ken.
"There's no need listening to him since he didn't keep to his words" I said to myself.
I jumped off the plush lounge chair in my room and grabbed a clean black shirt to throw over a deep blue jeans.
I checked myself in the mirror to ensure my hair is not so messy. I threw a side bag over my shoulder and dashed out of the room.
None of the workers were around when I stepped out so I just left the mansion without notifying anyone. With the aid of my phone, I was able to find a book store that was about 30 minutes drive from the mansion.
"Thank you" I said to the taxi guy after he had confirmed my payment.
I walked down a sidewalk, walking to the storefront that read, "FLECKER
