After giving me food, Seraphina stood up and said, "I'll go get some water." I couldn't help but ask the question that had been on my mind. "Are you going to leave me once I'm better?" She looked at me and replied, "Do you really think I'm that dumb? I won't leave you, even if you beg me to."

"Whatever I said before was because I was angry. No wife wants her husband to accuse her of having an affair with someone else."

"I'm sorry, Seraphina. I apologize for accusing you. I couldn't see anything except you and that man. I'm truly sorry," I sincerely confessed.

"I should be the one saying sorry. I'm sorry, Cassian! If I hadn't run away, the truck wouldn't have come towards me, and you wouldn't have pushed me out of the way and gotten hurt. That truck should have hit me, and I should be the one sitting where you are,"
