Chapter 29

The Meeting

Eun-Hee shifts her position while sleeping. She is feeling restless because of the nightmare. Her breath becomes uneasy. When her breathing becomes irregular and she can hear her heartbeat echoing loudly in her ears, she wakes up immediately from the nightmare. She sits up and looks around to find her surroundings. It takes her a moment until she realizes where she is and she lays back down to try to get back to sleep. Her chest tightens a bit when she remembers the dream she was having earlier. She tries to close her eyes again but they keep on opening despite her wishes.

Her heart aches every time she remembers Haneul, the man that she fell in love with. She hates that part of her that she cheats on Jung-Won. She knows very well how cruel it is to hurt someone who has already lost enough. She shakes her head trying to forget that part of her past. She closes her eyes again hoping to sleep peacefully.
